I've decided to recommend some books to you guys, because I LOVE EM. And you guys might love em too.
I recently read Carry On by Rainbow Rowell and let me tell you guys, I fell in love with the characters and the way the plot was written.... just explicitly beautifully woven. If you're a fan of the series Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, I think you guys would like this too. I personally haven't finished the series of Harry Potter, (and I will finish it, just wait) but I'm already on book 3. So no worries, my friends.
I also read The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan. If you guys know me, you guys would know that I'm a huge fan of his Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Heroes of Olympus series. And when I found out about this book being somehow related to that series, well, I decided to read it. AND MY FRIENDS, I love Magnus. I swear. I love Magnus. (Rick personally mentioned at the start of his book that he got the name of Magnus from Cassandra Clare's work, so read it? Yes?) (I haven't read the Mortal Instruments series, but please, wait! I'll be there soon.)
I also liked the Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass. I have just read the first book, but I'll finish it soon. I don't want to rush myself into the series, because whenever I do that, well, I end up forgetting everything as fast as soon as I read another book. BUT! I am recommending it now, because it is indeed a great work! There's a love triangle, but it's not the kind where half or a third of the book is dead because of the romance.
Are you into erotica genre? I'm recommending the series On Dublin Street by Samantha Young, because it got me hooked. The characters are cute. I especially love the last two books. Each can be read as a stand alone, but well, you might want to read it in order, because characters show up from time to time in the novels.
I also would like to recommend It's Kind of A Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. I read this book on a plane and it's a fast read. It is narrated by a boy who has depression, and enters a mental ward. And well, I just loved it. I'm always, always going to recommend this because it's awesome and realistic.
Part 2 will come out when I feel like recommending again~ See you soon!
